GEF Congo Basin Sustainable Landscapes Impact Program: Congo Impact Program

The Congo Basin Sustainable Landscapes Impact Program (Congo IP) comprises one regional and six national projects. The Program aims to catalyse transformational change in conservation and sustainable management of key landscapes in the Congo Basin through landscape approaches that empower local communities and forest-dependent people, and through partnerships with the private sector.

This report provides an overview of the objectives and outcomes of the Inception Workshop that marked the official launch of the Congo IP. It discusses the programme's work components across its six implementing countries, which include Cameroon, Central African Republic (CAR), the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Congo.
