The Climate Analysis and Policy Recommendations on Incorporating Climate Change Considerations into Integrated Land Use Management Plans in the Congo Basin report provides an evidence-based assessment of climate risks and practical pathways to integrate climate considerations into Integrated Land Use Management Plans (ILUMPs).

About the report

Developed under the Transformational Change in Sustainable Forest Management in Transboundary Landscapes of the Congo Basin Project, the report analyzes climate trends across four priority transboundary landscapes:

  • Campo Ma’an–Rio Campo
  • Monte Alén–Monts de Cristal
  • Sangha Tri-National
  • Lac Télé–Lac Tumba
Key objectives

The report aims to:

  • Support climate-informed land-use planning
  • Strengthen integration of climate risks into ILUMPs
  • Promote cross-sector coordination between environment, agriculture, finance, and development actors
  • Enable investment-ready, climate-resilient landscape strategies

Knowledge exchange: Webinar discussion
