About the Conference
The 2025 Annual Conference is Africa's first South-South regional forum dedicated to learning and knowledge exchange on the GEF-funded Critical Forest Biomes Integrated Programmes.
This landmark event brings together governments, local communities, and conservation organizations to foster collaboration and drive action for the conservation of the Congo Basin and the Guinean Forests of West Africa—two of the continent's most critical and intact forest ecosystems.
Focused on sustainable forest management and biodiversity protection, the conference aims to accelerate regional cooperation and impact.
